BY GOD’S GRACE I PLEDGE:

1. To accept by faith the sacrifice of the Lord as full payment for my sins and deliverance there from.

2. To accept the Bible as my only rule of faith and practice. Matt 4:4

3. To daily pray and read my Bible for strength and guidance. Matt 7:7; 2 Tim 3:16

4. To ‘Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy’, hence to do no secular work on Saturday. Exodus 20: 8-11

5. To attend the Hose of Worship on the Sabbath. Luke 4:16 , Acts 18:4

6. To faithfully support the church with Tithes and Offerings as God prospers me. Mal.3: 6-9, Matt 23:23

7. To abstain from fornication and adultery by God’s power. Isa. 41:10

8. To abstain from unclean meats such as Pork etc. Lev 11: 7,8 (read the entire chapter)

10. To abstain from strong drink such as liquor, wine, beer and narcotics in all of its form. Duet. 29:18 – 20; Prov. 20:1
11. Not to wear ornamental jewellery such as rings, earrings, bracelets and painted faces (lipstick and rouge) Isa. 3:16; 1 Tim. 2:9
12. By the Grace of God I pledge to adhere to the principles that govern the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

12. It is my desire by the Grace of God and the power of the indwelling Christ, to follow my Saviour in Baptism. John 3:5
